{MALL TRIPPIN' W/ MY LINDSEY-LEWIS}

I introduced my goWageous friend a few post back where she shared a few quick tips on adding sequins to your wardrobe. And, now we had our first trip to the mall to scope a few things out. I HATE the mall!!! I seriously do. It's a little too intimidating for me. Too many people all in one place. Too trendy? I don't know! I just HATE it. So, when she said that we would be trippin' it to the mall, I was a little less than thrilled but glad that I would be going with a pro...lol. 

I had been sending over images of pieces that I loved and outfits that I could see myself sportin', for a while now. And, today I was going to get to try a couple things on. First, we hit H&M!!! Love that place and hate it all at the same time. I'm the type of girl that shops by inspiration and already-put-together-outfits-or-the-internet...lol. And, with my Lindsay-Lewis along, it was a less hate-filled experience...

this was her first pick... super cute and comfy neutral dress (please excuse the wrinkles, clearly somebody at H&M was sleeping on the job...lol), navy blazer and braided belt...

despite the fact that my mall camera setting skills were on E, the blazer IS, in fact, navy and not deep purple...

I love this pic of my friend and her mini-me... how cute is that?!?...

she grabbed a super cute scarf, because she knows me and my need for a little security blanket...

and a couple of bangles for an extra pop...

and a little iPhone tally up...

Then on to The Limited for some suit finding...

LOVED this purse...

All I really told her is that I love mustard... and I really liked what she chose for me...

and LOVED these...

the last thing that she added was this thin mustard belt which really made it for me... made it less stuffy and more funky and fun... 

I was really glad that we got to hang and I think we got off to a great start. Shopping isn't so bad afterall , I guess...LOL

{PRETTY NAILS}

Bottom line is, my hands look a hot-chitty-mess. No lie! From washing dishes to cloth diaper duty and constant hand-washing every two seconds because I'm afraid of germs, it's sad. At this point in time there is no way I'll be keeping up with a professional manicure and the even sadder thing is that I was starting to convince myself that chipped polish has GoT to be some sort of new young Hollywood style (clearly pushing it). So I decided on a quick fix.

Express Finish!!

Five or six shades later I had a color to fit most of my moods in a day. I added a bit of "nail time" to my weekly schedule and the fact that they dry super quick and can be removed even quicker makes me do the happy dance inside. 

I'm -thisssss- close to being a more put together mommy. I hope :)

{MY FLOWER NECKLACE}

I think I might be strange. 

I have an obsession with costume jewelry but I kinda like to look and don't touch. Sorta like your mother's living room furniture that never gets sat on :/ I buy and buy and buy but I hardly ever wear. I have had this flower necklace for about 2 or three years now and I think I've worn it once. 

Ohhhh but isn't it so pretty?!?

The bottom line is that I hardly ever wear it because I barely have anywhere to wear it to. Ummmm, lemme see... to drop off the big lil' at daycare? Or maybe to run to the store for more diapers? Or, I could always wear it at the park during mommy and boyz play time. I think NOT. The realness is...

I need to find more grown up places to go and things to do. 

You know, somewhere to wear my necklaces to! 

Ohhhhh internet mommies, when do you start finding time for more grown-up things to do?

{WEDDING WEAR: TODDLER STYLE pt.2}

So, this weekends wedding is approaching and guess what people??? Cammy has an outfit!!! Thanks to the good ole' Gap we found this cutiness of a button up and these adorable black and white stripped jeans to boot! 

Yipeee....

Looks like we don't have to take him in his birthday suit and super cute blue and khaki shoes...(woulda been good times...lol)

and I am oh-so-in-love with this perfect pair....

the best part is that I have a super cute grandfather hat that will top the look off. The challenge will be getting him to keep it on long enough for me to take a picture...:/
