{MY NEW OFFICE...YIPPEEEE}

Okay, so I'm super late and ALL sorts of wrong. I know that it's pretty much the end of this goWageous Friday and I spent my time trying to shake off baddaybeginnings, pack the kiddies up, and do some grocery shopping. By the time I waddled my tired self in the house and put all the groceries away (totally-not-telling-the-truth-cuz-the-hubs-put-them-away-while-I-was-out-like-a-light-with-two-babies-yankin'-at-my-hair) it was already 6pm and I hadn't blogged yet for the day...SuE Me... I may, or may not, show up in court :)

Anywhooo, I figured this is as great-a-time-as-any to show off my newest little office space.

I LovE it!!!

I LOVE that its nice and clean and simple...and the best part... ORGANIZED...

since we occupy a super small living space... this wall adjacent to our sofas and flat screen in our sitting room, was the perfect little space for me to get down to business and keep my eye on the kiddies at all times...

since multicolored mini post-it's make everything right in the world...it was only fitting to display my favorite message in my favoritess of ways...

I got these super cute ceramic birdies for the nursery when I WAS TOLD by the ultrasound tech that the new lil' was going to be a girl....So much for reliability....

and what's life without colored pencils and crayons??!??? I use these for sketches and when I need a little color therapy...

and right in front of my face for daily remembrance... side note: I snagged all of these frames from Ikea for under $15...love that place

I hung these storage racks above to hold all my writing materials, magazine clippings and folders that I use the most... i.e. contracts, welcome letters, session calendars etc.

If you are wondering what that empty frame is to the right... I wanted a place to display all of my "to-do" sticky notes and I decided that this oversized frame would be perfect (more on how I use it a little later)... I just wanted one long wall of desk space and these desk were exactly what I was looking for. I plan on getting two more and wrapping them around the wall to the right for even more workspace for sewing/crafts.

I adore these containers. Three of these, one of these, a packet of these babies and it is finished!! They are perfect for stashing the supplies that I use the most and I bundle all of my chargers and my iPhone, iPod and headphones live here too... I was even thinking of adding another to drop a tiny little plant in for little green factor (well, that and oxygen :)...

I love the little nook on the side...iPad and all... it was originally supposed to be a hubs here and mommy there type of thing.. but ultimately, the big lil' claimed the space as his stomping grounds. Me-editing, him-angry birds...his thoughts...all is right with the world...

I also have a ton of these and even more magazine boxs and cd/dvd holders to store a ton of other stuff...

I love my little office space. Just thought I would share...

{KENDALL'S NURSERY}

I absolutely L-O-V-E having a nursery. Even though I am barely EVER in there. It just makes me feel good inside. The great thing about having another baby boy is that I could just spruce up the big lil's old nursery a bit and move him over to a big boy room. The sad part is that they will never know just how cute it really was. That mommy put a lot of love into the making of their nursery and I would really love some sort of acknowledgment down the road. Like, a birthday shout out, a super special mother's day cruise or some kind of video montage to be shown during and/or after their wedding receptions (J/K, honest).

So, I decided to document just how cute it really was so that I can show them at some sort of family function when they are married and with kids :)...

I got the theme from Project Nursery, which I LOVE!!! It was originally designed by two designers having their first baby boy and I loved it so much that there wasn't much I changed. Basically, I pretty much copied their entire room and was proud of it! Thanks super talented design guys :)

I just love this cozy corner for nursing, and I would probaly love it even more if I actually nursed in it...lol.

I tried to keep the things on the shelf to a minimum with the big lil' runny around like a bandit...

and of course I must show you how super organized and neat the baby's drawers right after let's clean the house day!

I would love to know what you guys favorite part of your nurseries are (if you have one :)

{THE BIG BOY ROOM}

When we found out that the new little one was going to be another boy we were super grateful that the nursery transition would be a breeze. I guess I could have turned the spare bedroom into a totally different nursery but we really didn't think that made much sense. So we decided to keep the nursery for the new guy and turn the spare into a "big boy room" for Cammy. Oh the JoyS!!! Of course I really wanted the room to be nice and modern and not scream KIDDO through a crowded room but who am I to deny the kid of a fun and funky, somewhat super colorful place to hang tight, really?? The only ideas that I really started with was a color scheme (royal blue, sky blue, green & red) and a general rule... "must be full of toys".

Cammy had a fun visit with his Grandad and picked up this cuteness of a Cars sofa from Walmart that he LOVES to recline and hang out to watch movies...kidsS! And I just had to have this royal blue area rug to ground the space and I LOVE it!

The next best thing we scored was this blue toy chest that we got on clearance from Target for $20.00. It is a great place to hide most of his toys and occasionally I can find him sitting inside and singing along to his My Baby Can Read DVDS...lol! He's a multi-purpose kinda kid!

I LOVE the fact that this tiny Toy Story car seems to embody my color scheme for the room. It's the little things :) And we picked up this rocket comforter that I thought would be perfect!

Above the crib is a Lack shelf that we got from Ikea. It is the perfect space to house the things that are a must have in the room but I don't need the little guy getting their hands on.

Contrary to the Hubby's knowledge, the room is still a work in progress but at least I think we got off to a decent start :)

I'll keep you posted...
